ÞEn seide vr lord precious: 'þis day is hele mad to þyn hous, [ 160] ffor as muche as þou art þan þe holy sone of Abraham.' vche mon þat wol come fforte ben Abrahames sone, As longe as he liueþ sikerly [ 165] he moste ben aboute bisy To folwe þe ensaumple in his dede þat we here of Ȝachéé rede: þat is to sey, wiþ wille feruent Of goodus þat god him haþ isent [ 170] Ȝif þe pore for godus sake, And so Abraham sone hym make. Abraham is forto say 'ffadur of mony folk' verray— þat is he þat for vs diȝed [ 175] And al his bodi wiþ blood biwriȝed.
