Im Evangel.: Nuptie facte sunt in Cana Galilee, heisst es mitten im Text, nach der Erklärung von Wasser (= Zustand der Sünde) und Wein (Zu∣stand der Gnade):

Soweit die Evangeliengeschichten des Ms. Vernon. Hoffentlich werde ich bald im Stande sein, in einer Fortsetzung die andern Mss. und ihr Ver∣hältniss zum Ms. Vernon zu behandeln. Ms. Vernon, obwohl es den nörd∣lichen Text in einen andern Dialekt überträgt, geniesst den Vorzug, voll∣ständig zu sein und an die älteste (unvollständige) Hs. sich anzuschliessen, und bietet daher eine feste Grundlage, auf welcher weiter fortgebaut werden möge.
