c. 1420. A long paper roll for six months and three weeks, consisting of nine pieces of paper neatly sewn together like a parchment roll. Water-mark, a trefoil leaf with two bracts on the stalk. The roll is imperfect at the top, beginning near the end of the second week. The marginal notes are unusually full, but there are very few special entries relating to provisions. -
