                                    et ambula in viis cordis tui et in tuitu

                                    oculorum tuorum; Et scito quod pro
                                  
                                    omnibus hiis te adducet
                                  
                                    dominus in iudicium.
                                  
                                  He says "þou yhung man be glad and blithe,
                                  Line 5712 
                                
                                  In þi yhouthede þat passes swithe,
                                
                                  And þat þi hert in gude be stedfast,
                                
                                  Whilles þe days of þi youthe sal last
                                
                                  And in þe ways of þe herht ga
                                  Line 5716 
                                
                                  And in þe syght of þin eghen twa;
                                
                                  And wytt þou for alle þis of yhouthede,
                                
                                  Our Loverd sal þe into þe dome lede;"
                                
                                  Whar resons sal be yholden sere;
                                  Line 5720 
                                
                                  And þarfor says Iob on þis manere:
                                
                                    Et consumere ne vis peccatis adolescencie mee.
                                  
                                  "Loverd wil þou waste me to noght
                                
                                  Thurgh þe syns þat I haf wroght,"

                                  Alswa men sal þan yhelde acount sone,
                                
                                  Noght anly of þat þat þai wrang had done
                                
                                  Witandly thurgh þair knawyng,
                                
                                  Bot alswa of þat þat þai did thurgh erryng,

                                  Of whilk þai sal noght be excused þan,
                                
                                  Als in buk þus says þe wyse man:
                                
                                    Pro omni errato, sine bonum sine malum
                                  
                                    sit, adducetur homo in iudicio.

                                  He says "for ilka thyng þat erred es
                                
                                  Be it gude or ille, mar or les,
                                
                                  Man, at þe last day, sal be ledde
                                
                                  To þe dome þat es mast dredde;"

                                  And þarfor David, als þe psauter shewes us,
                                
                                  Was ful dredand, þat says þus:
                                
                                    Et ignorancias meas me memineris.
                                  
                                  "Loverd" he says, "ne mene þou noght

                                  Of my freyle unknawynges of thoght."
                                
                                  Yhit sal þai yhelde acunt withdrede,
