And when̛ þai come aforn̛ hym̛, þuf aƚƚ he war gretelie turment & whakand̛, [yit] he was compellid̛ to vttyr. And þan̛ he sayd̛ vnto þaim; "Brethir, when̛ ye trow[yd] at I fastid̛ with you I had meate privalie & eete, and þerfor̛ I am̛ now giffen̛ vnt[o a] dragon̛ to devowr̛, ffor with his tayle he hase vmlappid̛ my kneis, & he hase [put] his head̛ in my mouthe & suppyd vp my sawle. & with þat he stude vpp̛ on̛ his fete and onone he was dead̛.
