Videre malos non est dilectabile.
We rede in 'Cronicles' how on̛ a tyme as Iulianus Apostata made his sacrafice at Co[n]stantynople vnto þe ymage of Fortun̛, his modir, the bisshop̛ of Calcidony, þat was blynd̛ for age, come vnto hym̛ & callid̛ hym̛ wrichid̛ Apostata. And he ansswerd̛ hym̛ agayn̛, & sayd̛; "Thi Galile may not luff þe." And he ansswe[r]d̛ agayn̛ & said̛; "Therefor God tuke from̛ me my syght at I sulde not se the at is withowten̛ petie." And Iulianus ansswerd̛ hym̛ nothyng agayn̛, bod went his ways home als faste as he myght.
