fadur whatt he had sene and axkid̛ hym̛ whatt it was, & he wolde not teƚƚ hym̛. So on̛ a tyme he went with his fadur into Egypte, and þer he saw wommen̛. And þan̛ he tolde his fadur at þai war swilk at he saw in his abbay in wyldernes, and his fadur had merveƚƚ here-of & trowid̛ at it was a disseyte of þe devuƚƚ and said vnto hym̛; "Son̛, thies er seculer monkes þat vsis a noder maner of habett þan̛ monkis or hermettis duse."
