Sacerdos indigne celebrans eciam visibiliter
sacramento priuatur.
Cesarius tellis of a preste of Saynt̛ Petur kurk in Colayn̛, how on̛ a day when̛ he had sacred his mes & layd̛ down̛ þe sacrament on̛ þe altar, when̛ he sulde take it agayn̛ he cuthe not fynd it, nor aƚƚ þe oþer peple þat helpid̛ hym̛ to seke itt. Whar̛-for witty men̛ þat knew hym̛ supposid̛ þat aungels had taken̛ it from̛ hym̛, & translat it into hevyn̛, þat he þat was a lichuros preste sulde not resayfe it vnto hym̛ dampnacion̛; for it was not vnknowen̛ at he had a lemman̛ in þe town̛ & held̛ hur opynlie.
