We rede in 'Vitis Patrum,' how on̛ a tyme ane olde man̛ saw a yong man̛ lagℏ, & he said vnto hym̛; "Son̛, how may þou fynd̛ in þi herte to lagℏ? Mon̛ not þou & I & we aƚƚ befor̛ bothe hevyn̛ and ertℏ gyf a rekynyng of aƚƚ our lyfe? And þerfor̛ me mervels," he said̛, "at þow may fynde in þi harte to lagℏ."
