Raptor oratione restituere compellitur.
Saynt Gregor̛ tellis how on̛ a tyme a company of Gothomys [Arund. MS. exercitus Gothorum.] mett Libertinus, a gude holy man̛, rydand on̛ his hors, and þai threw hym̛ of his hors & tuke it from̛ hym̛. And when̛ þai had taken̛ it from̛ hym̛, he profurd þaim his whipp̛, & sayde; "Take þis with you at ye may gar þe hors ga with." And þai tuke it and went þer wayse. And als sone as þai war gone he feƚƚ vnto his prayers, and it happend̛ at þai mott go no ferrer, nor with þer spurris gar þer hors go furtℏ. So þai vmthoght þaim at þai had done wrang vnto þis holy man̛, and þai turnyd agayn̛ & restorid̛ hym̛ of his hors.
