We rede also in his Legend how þer was som tyme a womman̛ in Flawndres, and when̛ sho had born̛ iij childer sho prayed̛ Saynt Petur for to helpe hur. And sho bare þe iiij childe and it was d̛ead̛, and sho tuke þis childe & broght it vnto Saynt Petur & besoght hym̛ hertelie þerfor̛. And onone þis dead̛ childe become whik̘. And when̛ it was ordand̛ þat at his baptym̛ he sulde be callid̛ John̛, þe preste, not wittand̛ what he suld̛ say, namyd̛ hym̛ Petur; and þat name remaynyd̛ with hym̛ ewhils he liffid̛.
