dead̛lyke, he began̛ to wax passand̛ mery, and̛ his felows axkid̛ hym̛ whatt was cauce att he was so merye. He ansswerd̛ agayn̛ & sayd̛; "Whi sulde I nott be mery? Our Ladie was here & sayd̛ vnto me, 'Cono! becauce þou left þi wife, þi childer, & aƚƚ þi gudis for þe luff of my son̛, I shaƚƚ wele reward̛ þe.'" And with þat he cryed̛ & said̛; "Behold̛! I se hevyn̛ oppyn̛ & a seatt ordand̛ for me." And with þat he passid̛ away, & his sawle went vpp̛ vnto hye hevyn̛.
