Saynt Ierom̛ tellis how Socrates had ij wyfis, & oft sithes ather of þaim wold̛ flite with other, & evur he wolde do bod scorn̛ þaim. And att þe laste þai wex bothe wrothe with hym̛ & callid̛ hym̛ bellud̛ chule, & said̛ his nease droppid̛ & his een̛ ran̛, and þe harys on his browis war lyke swyne-brustyls.
