Ager. Agrorum [terminos From the Latin MSS.] transponentes et inuasores puniuntur in hac vita.

Cesarius tellis how þat in Colayn̛ þer was a husband-man̛ þat hyght Henrie; and sekenes tuke hym̛, & he drew vnto his dedeward̛. And evur hym̛ thoght þat þer was enence his mouthe a grete burnand stone hyngand̛, euer in like to hitt hym̛. And as hym̛ thoght, þe hete þeroff burnyd hym̛ hugelie. And he cried̛ horrible & said̛; "Behold̛ þis stane þat hyngis befor̛ my face, how þat it burnys me!" And þan̛ þai garte caƚƚ a preste, & he was shrevyn̛. Neuer-þe-les, it profettid hym̛ noght, and þe preste said vnto hym̛; "Son̛, vmthynk þe if þou hafe dissayvid̛ any man̛ be þis stane." And at þis wurde he vmthoght hym̛ & said̛; "A! Sur, I hafe now gude mynde how I remevid̛ þis stone in þe feld̛, to þe entent þat I wolde enlarge myne awn̛ grownd̛ & mynys oþer mens grownd̛." And þan̛ þe preste tolde hym̛ at þat was þe cauce; and he shrafe hym̛ þeroff, & promyssid̛ to make amendis þerfor. And þus hitt wanysshid̛ away, & he was delyverd
