Theofrastus þe philosophur sayd̛, a womman̛ is owder fayr or fowle, and if sho be fayr onone sho saƚƚ be luffid̛ & desyrid̛ to be had, and if sho be fowle sho wiƚƚ desyre to be had. And þerfor̛ it is hard̛ to kepe þat at many men̛ desyris, and it is hevie to hafe þat in welde þat no man̛ dedengnys to hafe.
