In þe dioces of Coleyn̛ þer was a yong damyseƚƚ þat was rakles & lichoros. So at þe laste, after grete sekenes, hur happend̛ to dye, and as sho lay nakid̛ on̛ þe flure, couerde with a shete, aƚƚ þe doggis of þe town̛ come samen into þe howse, & drew of þe shete and pullid̛ hur aƚƚ to gobettis so þat vnnethis þe husbandis [After husbandis, þe h, erased.] myght dyng þaim away. And þan̛ þai gaderd̛ samen þe pecis of hur body & berid̛ it.
