prayers nor his offrand̛ vnto hur, nor did hur nott wurshup̛ as he was wunte to doo, bod cesid̛ þeroff. So on̛ a tyme as he was in his prayers he feƚƚ on̛ slepe, and hym̛ þoght þat he saw in a vision̛ a grete multitude of virgyns goyng on̛ a raw by hym̛. And emang þaim ane þat was passand̛ shynand̛ & fayr forby aƚƚ þe toder, when̛ sho come nere hym̛ sho coverd̛ hur face þat he sulde not se hur, and so sho passid̛ away by hym̛ & he mot se aƚƚ þe toder facis bod hurs. And he had grete merveƚƚ what sho was at shynyd̛ so forbe aƚƚ þe toder, & hid hur face þat he sulde not se hur. And one of þaim, when̛ he spurryd what sho was, tolde hym̛ at sho was Katryn̛, whilk þat he was wunte to know & to do wurshup̛ to. "And becauce," sho said̛, "at þou hase now forgettyn̛ hur & giffes none almos-dede in wurshup̛ of hur, nor makis no prayer vnto hur nor wurshuppis her noȝt as þou was wunte to do, þerfor̛ sho covers hur face when̛ sho passis by the, att þou sulde nott know what sho was becauce þou had forgetten̛ to know hur." et c̛.
