Inuitis prestat Deus multa beneficia.

We rede in þe 'Legend of Saynt Martyn̛' how þat þer was two at war felowse to-geder, & þai war beggers; & þe tone was blynde & þe toder myght not goo. And he þat was blynde was a strong man̛ & bare [After bare, to, erased.] the tother in his nekk, & he tellid̛ hym̛ alway how he sulde goo; and þus þai beggid̛ many day & gatt mekle syluer. And when̛ þai hard̛ teƚƚ how þat att Saynt Martyn̛ tombe many seke folke wer helid̛, opon̛ þe day of his translacion̛ it was vse to

bere his bonys furtℏ of þe kurk̘, and þai come thedir. And yit þai war aferd̛ þat peraventur, and þai abade in þe strete þer his bonys war born̛ thrugℏ, þat þai sulde be made hale; & þa[i] wold̛ not be made hale for drede þer begyng sulde defayle þaim. And þai went furtℏ of þat strete. And sodanlie þaim happend̛ mete with his shryne in a noder gate, & þer þai war made hale agayn̛ þer wyƚƚ.
