We rede how on̛ a tyme, when̛ Saynt Gregur was a chyld̛, our Lord̛ apperid̛ vnto hym̛, at his moder yate, in liknes of a pure shipman̛, and askid̛ hym̛ his almos. & he had̛ bod̛ xd̛ in his purs, & he gaff hym̛ vjd̛ þeroff. And belife after, þe same day, he come agayn̛, & askid̛ hym̛ mor̛; & þan̛ he gaff hym̛ þe toder iiijd̛.
