We rede how som tyme þer was a womman̛ þat had a grete deuocion̛ vnto Saynt Frawncis; so hur happend̛ to dye, and þe þrestis come & sang hur a dirige. So sodanlie sho spak vnto one of þe prestis at stude abowte hur, & said̛; "Fadur, I wulde be shrevyn̛; I was dead̛ & commaundid̛ vnto a grevus preson̛ for a syn̛ þat I was neuer shrevyn̛ of, þat I saƚƚ now confess me off to the. Bod Saynt Frawncis prayed for me, at my saule mott com̛ agayn̛ vnto my bodye & confes þat syn̛, & so hafe forgyfnes þerof."
