Iacobus de Vetriaco tellis how at þer was a bisshopp̛ þat made a sermon̛, & in his sermon̛ he said̛ at þai þat delte þer gudis to pure men suld̛ hafe þerfor̛ a hondrethfolde reward̛. And þer was a riche man̛ at hard̛ hym̛, & aƚƚ þe gudis att he had, he putt þaim vnto þe bisshopp̛, & he delte þaim vnto pure men̛ for Goddis sake. So hym̛ happend̛ to dy, & his childre tuke a sute agayn̛ þis bisshop̛ & askid̛ þer fadur gudis agayn̛. And he was not in power to giff þaim agayn̛. Not-with-stondyng he was a holie man̛, & had a commandment be revelacion̛, and he and þai to-gedur suld̛ go vnto þer fader grafe; & so þai did̛, & tuke hym̛ vpp̛. & þai fand̛ in his hand̛ a quytans, wreten̛ & selid̛ with his awn̛ seale, þat he not alonelie had reseyvid̛ agayn̛ aƚƚ þe gudis at he
