Dionisius. Dionisij martirium beato Regulo nunciavit deus.

We rede how on̛ a tyme when̛ bysshopp̛ Regulus sang mes, and in hys canon̛ he namyd̛ þe apostels o-raw, & þan̛ þe martyrs, sodanly he sayd̛; " Et beatis martiribus tuis Latin MSS. et beatis Martiribus tuis, Dyonisio, Rustico et Eletherio. , Rustico et Eleutherio." And when̛ he had sayd̛ so, sen̛ als mekuƚƚ as he kend̛ þies servandis of God̛ at þai war olyfe, he had grete mervale how þer namys happend̛ so sodanly in his mouthe, & he wiste no þing of þaim. And as he was in þis mervaƚƚ, þer apperid̛ vnto hym̛

iij dowffes sittand̛ opon̛ þe cros of þe awter; and þai had þe namys of þies holie martyrs writtyn̛ with blude on̛ þer brestis. And onone as he saw þat, he vnderstude at þies holie saynttis was martyrd̛ & putt to dead̛.
