Jacobus de Vetriaco tellis þat he had sene bothe men̛ & wommen sett vnto Godward̛ with so mervalos & so spirituaƚƚ affeccion̛, þat for desyre þai wex seke, & som̛ so mekuƚƚ, þat many yeris þai lay in þer beddis, and myght not ryse vp bod seldom̛ tymys. & þai had none other cauce of sekenes bod at þer hertis was so sett vnto Godward̛, & of þe ioy of hevyn̛.
