Man, haue hit in þy þouȝt
Of what matere þou maked is.
God made the of nouȝt;
Al þat þou hast, þou wost, is his.

Þy getyng, þy holdyng, þy spendyng mysse,
ffro blisse wolde make Iour delaye.
