Line 1284 Ay he gretes as he goys · þe grefe of hys knyghtez, Ay he plenys as he passez · þe pite of hys Ereles, Ay he wepys as he wendes · for hys wale princes, And souerandly for sampson · he sorows euerilyke. Line 1288 When he was turnyd froward tyre · toward þe wale, The werk at he wroght had · þe water within, Þat he hed sett in þe see · þe cite withowte, Thare-in he left hed a lityll [Read lede.] · [þe] loge for to kepe.
