IHesus þat sprong of iesse roote,
As us haþ prechid þi prophete,
Flour and fruyt boþe softe and sote,
To mannis soule of sauour sweete;

Whanne gabriel gan marie greete,
To felle oure foomen vndir foote,

So be my coumfort, crist ihesus.
