[Aaron's rod, and the death of Moses.]

Þis moises I. red of here. was taȝt þe folk to lede and lere þat delt waren in kingedomes twelue moises led ham alle him-selue. Line 6884 þat ilk kingerike sulde bere a wande and his bidding noȝt wiþ-stande and ilk wande atte þai þare bare he spered wiþ-in þaire santuare Line 6888 and wrate þe name and sette on sel. þat nane of ham sulde oþer betel. ¶ quen he ham loked a-pon þe morne. fande an wiþ floures and lefe borne. Line 6892 for hit was an almandine wande. þat ilk frute þer-on he fande. almondes was growande þer-on. þe wande atte felle to aaron. Quen þis ilk maister moises. had ledde þat folk in wildernes xl. winter and na lesse dede in desert he is.
