[verse 1] And y wytnesse to-fore God, & oure Lord Iesu Crist, þat schal deme boþe quyke men & dede, & by his comynge & his [verse 2] kyngdom; preche þou þe word, & stonde bysylyche boþe in hese & in anuy; & vndernyme þou, & byseche, & blame þou in eferich pacyence & in techynge. [verse 3] For tyme [ffor tyme repeated in the margin, 1st corr. S.] schal come when men ne wolleþ noȝt susteyne good techynge [S folio 83b] & hol; bote þei schuleþ gedere to-gyder maystres, ycchynge [tichynge on erasure in a late hand, P.] heres [P folio 96] [þe heres, P.] , [verse 4] & þei schulleþ turnen awey hure herynge from trewþe, & þei schuleþ turnen hem to tales. [verse 5] Bote wake þou, & trauayle þou in alle þinges, & do þou þi werk of þe euangelye, & fulfulle þi mynystrynge. & be þou sober.
