¶ Þus quad Alvred: [K. Alfred.] Elde cumid to tune, mid fele unkeþe costes; and doþ [W. doþe.] þe man to helden, Line 536 þat him selwe ne mai he him noch welden. Hit makit him wel vnmeke, and binimit him is migte.
