Þe lordë and þe gestës alle, One and oþer þat were yn halle, Had merueyle þat hyt was so, Þat he myȝte swych myrácle do. Take ensample here, of Pers, And parteþ with þe pore, ȝe okerers, For ȝow shal neuer come Ioye with-ynne, But ȝe leuë fyrst þat synne; Line 5940 And ȝyue to almes þat ychë þyng [folio 40a] Þat ȝe haue wune wyþ okeryng.
