In to þe flore þe dore fel a-none This Nicholas satt ay as still as any stone Line 3472 And euer gaped vp in to þe aire This Carpenter wende he were in despeire And hent him be þe scholdres myhtely And schoke him harde and cried spitously Line 3476 What Nicholas what howe loke a downe Awake and þenke on cristes passion .I. crouche þe from elues and from whihtes There-wiþe þe nyhtes spel seide he anone rihtes.
