¶ But wel he knewe next himself certayne Line 694 Sche loued hir children best in euery wise / But now of wommen wolde I aske fayne If þise assayes mighte nouȝt suffise / Line 697 What couþe a stordy housbonde more deuyse To proeue his wijf and hire stedfastnesse And he contynuyng euer in sturdynesse Line 700
