[verse 1] Forsothe [And IS.] Moyses comaundide, and the eldre men, to [of IS.] the puple of Israel, and seiden [thei seiden IS.] , Kepe ȝe ech `comaundement which [heest, that IS.] Y comaunde to ȝou to dai. [verse 2] And whanne ȝe han passid Jordan, in to the lond which [that IS.] thi Lord God schal ȝyue to thee, thou schalt reyse [rere vp IS.] grete stoonus, and thou schalt [verse 3] make tho [hem IS.] pleyn with chalk, that thou mow [may I.] write in tho [hem IS.] alle the wordis of this lawe, whanne Jordan is passid, that thou entre in to the lond which [that IS.] thi Lord God schal ȝyue to thee, the lond flowynge with mylke and hony, as he swoor [bihiȝte IS.] to thi fa|dris. [verse 22] Cursid is he that slepith with his sistir, the douȝtir of his fadir, ethir of his modir; and al the puple schal seie, Amen! [verse 23] Cursid is he that slepith with his wyues modir; and al the puple schal seye, Amen! [verse 24] Cursid is he that sleeth pryueli his neiȝbore; and al the puple schal seie, Amen! [verse 25] Cursid is he that slepith with `the wijf of his neiȝbore [his neiȝboris wijf IS.] ; and al the puple schal seie, Amen! [verse 26] Cursid is he that takith ȝiftis, that he smyte the lijf of innocent [the innocent IS.] blood; and al the puple schal seie, Amen!
