[verse 1] Thou schalt not se `thi brotheris oxe [the oxe of thi brothir I. thi brother oxe S.] , ethir scheep, errynge, and schalt passe [passe therbi S.] , but thou schalt brynge aȝen [it aȝen IS.] to thi bro|ther [brother his beest S.] . [verse 2] And if thi brother [neiȝbore S.] is not nyȝ [dwellinge there S marg.] , nether thou knowist hym, thou schalt lede tho beestis in to thin hows, and tho schulen be at [anentis IS.] thee, as long as thi brother sekith tho [hem IS.] , and til he resseyue hem [Om. plures.] . [verse 3] In lijk maner thou schalt do of `the asse [the asse of thi brother I. thi brother asse S.] , and clooth [of clooth I. of his clooth S.] , and of ech thing of thi bro|ther, that was lost; if thou fyndist it, be thou not necgligent as of [Om.
