[verse 1] Kepe thou the monethe of newe fruytis, and of the bigynnyng of somer, that thou make pask to thi Lord God; for in this monethe thi Lord God ledde thee out of Egipt in the nyȝt. [verse 2] And thou schalt offre pask to thi Lord God, of scheep and of oxun, in the place which [that IS.] thi Lord God chees, that his name dwelle there. [verse 3] Thou schalt not ete `ther ynne [in that place S.] breed `diȝt with sourdouȝ [maad sour I.] ; in seuene daies thou schalt ete breed of affliccioun, with out sourdouȝ,

for in drede thou ȝedist out [in drede thou ȝedist out; in Ebreu it is, sudeynly, ether hastily thou ȝedist out. C.] of Egipt, that thou haue mynde of the dai of thi goyng out of Egipt, in alle the daies of thi lijf. [verse 4] No thing `diȝt with sourdouȝ [maad sour I.] schal appere in alle thi termes [coostis IS.] by seuene daies, and of the fleischis [fleishe IS.] of that [of the fleischis of that, that is, of the lomb of pask. Lire here. C.] that is offrid in the euentid, schal not dwelle in the firste dai in the morewtid. [verse 5] Thou schalt not mow offre pask in ech of thi citees whiche thi Lord God [Om. K.] schal ȝyue to thee, [verse 6] but in the place which [that IS.] thi Lord God chees, that his name dwelle there; thou schalt offre pask in the euentid, at the goyng doun of the sunne, whanne thou ȝedist out of Egipt. [verse 7] And thou schalt sethe [sethe thi offryng IS.] , and ete [ete it IS.] , in the place which [that IS.] thi [the KX.] Lord God hath chose, and thou schalt rise in the morewtid of the secunde [seuenthe A.] dai, and thou schalt go in to thi tabernaclis. [verse 8] Bi sixe daies thou schalt ete therf breed; and in the seuenthe dai, for it is the gaderyng of thi Lord God [the gadering of thy Lord God; in Ebreu it is, the with|holding of thi Lord God. C.] , thou schalt not do werk. [verse 9] Thou schalt noumbre to thee seuene woukis, fro that dai in which thou settidist a sikil [verse 10] in to the corn; and thou schalt halewe the feeste [firste IS.] dai of woukis [the woukis IS.] to thi Lord God, a wilful offryng of thyn hond, which [that I.] thou schalt offre by the blessing of thi Lord God. [verse 11] And thou schalt ete bifore thi Lord God, thou, and thi sone [sones S.] , and thi douȝtir, and thi seruaunt, and thin handmayde, and the dekene which [that IS.] is with ynne thi ȝatis, and the [thi GQ.] comelynge, and the [Om. plures.] fadir|les [fadirles chyld A.] ethir modirles child, and the widue, that dwellen with ȝou, in the place `which thi [that the IS.] Lord God chees that his name dwelle there. [verse 12] And thou schalt haue mynde for thou were seruaunt in Egipt, and thou schalt kepe and do tho thingis that ben comaundid. [verse 13] And thou schalt halewe the solempnytee of tabernaclis bi seuene daies, whanne thou hast gaderid thi fruytis of the [thi IK.] cornfloor, and pressour [of the pressour IS.] . [verse 14] And thou schalt ete in thi feeste dai [Om. plures.] , thou, and thi

sone, and douȝtir [thi douȝtir ISX pr. m.] , and thi seruaunt [man seruaunt IS.] , and handmayde [thin handmayde IS.] , also the dekene, and come|lyng [the comelyng IS.] , and the fadirles ether modirles child, and the widewe, that ben with ynne thi ȝatis, `schulen ete [Om. [verse 15] Bi seuene daies thou schalt halewe feestis to thi Lord God, in the place which [that IS.] the Lord chees [hath chose I.] ; and thi Lord God schal blesse thee, in alle thi fruytis, and in al the werk of thin hondis, and thou schalt be in gladnesse. [verse 16] In thre tymes bi the ȝeer al thi male kynde schal appere in the siȝt of thi Lord, in the place which [that IS.] he chees [hath chose I.] , in the solempnyte of therf looues, and in the solempnyte of woukis, and in the solempnyte of tabernaclis. A man schal not appere voide bifor the [verse 17] Lord; but ech man schal offre vpe [after S.] this [that I.] that he hath, bi the blessyng of his Lord God, which [that IS.] he ȝaf to `that man [him IS.] . [verse 18] Thou schalt ordeyne `iugis, and maystris [jugis and maistris; this word and is set for this word that is, for iugis owen to be lernyd in the lawis; in Ebreu it is, iugis and exactours; ex|actours ben thei that enqueren the truthe bi mesurable be|tingis and tur|mentis; and performen the sentence of iugis. C.] whiche thi Lord God schal ȝyue to thee, bi ech of thi lynagis, that [verse 19] thei deme the puple bi iust doom, and bowe [bowe thei I.] not in `to the [Om. AB.] tother [oother I. tother wronge S.] part for fa|uour [drede S.] , ethir [ne S.] ȝifte [for ȝifte FKSX.] `aȝens equete [Om. IS.] . Thou schalt not take persoone [a persoone IX sec. m. eny persoone S.] nether ȝiftis [ȝiftis aȝens trewth S.] , for whi ȝiftis blynden the iȝen of wise men, `and chaungen the wordis of iust men [Om. S.] . [verse 20] Thou schalt pursue iustli that [that thing S.] that is iust, that thou lyue and welde the lond which [that IS.] thi Lord God schal ȝyue to thee. [verse 21] Thou schalt not plaunte a wode, and ech tre bi [verse 22] the auter of thi Lord God; nether thou schalt make to thee, and ordeyne an ymage; whiche [the whiche I.] thingis thi Lord God hatith. [verse 1] Thou schalt not offre to thi Lord God an oxe and a scheep in which is a wem, ether ony thing of vice [repreef IS.] , for it is abhominacioun to thi Lord God.
