CAP. XV.
[verse 1] And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide, [verse 2] Speke thou to the sones of Israel, and thou schalt seie to hem, Whanne ȝe han entrid in to the lond of ȝoure abitacioun [dwelling IS.] [verse 3] which [that I.] Y schal ȝyue to ȝou, and ȝe make [schul make IS.] an offryng to the Lord in to brent sacri|fice, ether a pesible sacrifice, and ȝe [ȝif ȝe IS.] payen [schul paie ȝoure I. shulen paie or do ȝoure S.] auowis, ethir offren ȝiftis bi [bi ȝoure S.] fre wille, ethir [ethir ȝif IS.] in ȝoure solempnytees ȝe brennen [shul brenne IS.] odour [smelling IS.] of [Om. S.] swetnesse to the Lord, of oxun, [verse 4] ether of scheep; who euer offrith the [Om. IOR sec.m. ST sec.m.] slayn sacrifice, schal offre a [Om. A.] sacrifice of flour, the tenthe part of ephi, spreynt togidere with oile, which [the which I.] oil schal haue a mesure [verse 5] the fourthe part of hyn; and he schal ȝyue wyn to fletynge sacrifices to be sched [held I.] , of the same mesure, in to brent sacrifice, and slayn sacrifice. [verse 6] Bi ech loomb and ram schal be the sacrifice of flour, of twey tenthe partis, which [the which I.] schal be spreynt to|gidere with oile, of the thridde part of [verse 7] hyn; and he schal offre wyn to the flet|ynge sacrifice, of the thridde part of the same mesure, in to odour [smellyng IS.] of swetnesse to the Lord. [verse 8] Forsothe [sothely IS.] whanne thou makist a brent sacrifice, ethir an offryng of oxun, that thou fille [fulfil IS.] avow, ethir pesible sacri|fice, [verse 9] thou schalt ȝyue, bi ech oxe, thre tenthe partis of flour [tried flour IS.] , spreynt togidere with oile, which [the which I.] schal haue the half of [Om. IS.] mesure of [verse 10] hyn; and thou schalt ȝyue wyn to fletynge sacrifices [sacrifice C.] to be sched [held I.] , of the same mesure, [verse 11] in to offryng of the swettest odour [smell IS.] to the Lord. [verse 12] So ȝe schulen do bi ech oxe, and [verse 13] ram, and lomb, and kide; as wel men [verse 14] borun in the lond, as pilgrymys [that is, men conuerted to the lawe of Jewis. BCKQX.] , schulen [verse 15] offre sacrifices bi the same custom; o co|maundement and doom schal be, as wel to ȝou as to comelyngis of the lond.
