[verse 1] The Lord spak to Moyses and Aaron, [verse 2] and seide, A man in whos skyn and fleisch rysith dyuerse colour, ether whelke, ethir as `sum schynynge thing [ony thing schynynge I. eny shynynge soor thing S.] , that is, a wounde of lepre, he schal be brouȝt to Aaron preest [the prest IS.] , ether to oon `who euer [of ony IS.] of hise [verse 3] sones; and whanne he seeth lepre [the lepre IKS.] in [or meselrie in S.] the skyn, and the heeris [heer IS.] chaungide in to whijte colour, and that spice [the spice IS.] of lepre lowere [is lowere IS.] than the tother [other IS.] skyn and fleisch [the fleisch IS.] , it is a [thanne a S.] wounde of lepre, and he schal be departid at the `doom of the preest [preestis doom IS.] . [verse 4] So|theli if schynyng [the schynyng IS.] whijtnesse is [that is IS.] in the skyn, nethir is lower than the tother fleisch, and the heeris ben of the formere colour, the preest schal close hym seuene daies [daies fro other men S.] ; [verse 5] and schal [the preest schal IS.] biholde hym in the seuenthe dai, and sotheli if the lepre wexith [wexe IS.] not ferther, nethir passith the formere termes in the fleisch, eft the preest schal [Om. the preest schal clense hym [the prest schal clense him, that is, schal deme him [to be IS.] cleene. BCGIKL PQSX.] , for it is a scabbe; and the man schal waische hise clothis, and he schal be clene. [verse 7] That if the lepre wexith eft, aftir that he is seyn [thus seyn S.] of the preest, and is [bi the prestis dome is S.] ȝoldun to clennesse, he schal be brouȝt [brouȝt aȝen IS.] to the preest, and schal [he schal IKS.] be demed of [to be of S.] vnclennesse. [verse 8] If the wounde of lepre is in man [a man IS.] , he schal be brouȝt to [verse 9] the preest, and he schal se the man; and whanne whijt colour is in the fleisch, and chaungith [it chaungith IS.] the siȝt [siȝt or former colour S.] of heeris [chaungith the siȝt of heeris, that is, the formere kyndly colour. BCGKQX.] , and thilke [that K.] [verse 10] fleisch apperith quyk [quyk or wexinge S.] , it schal be demid eldest [the eldest IS.] lepre, and growun to the skyn; [verse 11] therfor the preest schal defoule hym [defoule him, that is, deme him [to be IS] foul. BCGIKLNPQSX.] , and he [the preest IS.] schal not close [close him S.] eft, for it is of opyn vnclennesse. [verse 12] But if lepre [the lepre IS.] rennynge about in the skyn `flourith out [fl. either wexith IS.] , and hilith al the fleisch, fro the heed til to the feet, what euer thing fallith [fallith to be knowen IS.] vndur the [Om. S.] siȝt of iȝen; [verse 13] the preest schal biholde hym, and schal [he schal IS.] deme `that he is [him to be IS.] holdun with clenneste [the clenneste IS.] lepre, for all the skyn is turned in to whijt|nesse, and therfor the man schal be cleene. [verse 14] Sotheli whanne quyk fleisch apperith in [verse 15] hym, thanne [Om. S.] he schal be defoulid bi the [Om. I.] doom of the preest, and he schal be arettid [acountid IS.] among vncleene men; for quyk fleisch is vnclene, if it is spreynt with lepre. [verse 16] That if the fleisch is turned eft in to whijtnesse, [verse 17] and hilith al the man, the preest schal bi|holde hym, and schal deme, that he is cleene. [verse 18] Fleisch [the fleisch IS.] and skyn [the skyn IS.] , in which a [verse 19] botche is bred, and is heelid, and `a step of wounde [the place of the bocche or a fell sore I. the p. of the b. felle sore S.] apperith whijt, ethir `sum deel [Om. lowere than the `nyȝ fleisch [tother fleisch F pr. m. G. fleisch bisidis IS.] , the preest [verse 22] schal close the man seuene daies; and so|theli, if it [his sore S.] wexith, the preest schal deme [verse 23] the man of [to be IS.] lepre; forsothe if it stondith in his [the IS.] place, it is a [Om. IS.] signe of botche [a botche IS.] , and the man schal be cleene. [verse 24] Fleisch [the fleisch IS.] and skyn [the skyn IS.] , which the [Om. IKOS.] fier hath brent, and is heelid, and hath a whijt ethir reed `signe [verse 25] of wounde [tokene of sorenesse IS.] , the preest schal biholde it, and lo! if it is turned in to whijtnesse, and the place therof is lowere than the tothir skyn, the preest schal defoule the man, for a wounde of lepre is bred in the `signe of wounde [tokene of the soor IS.] . [verse 26] That if the [Om. S.] colour of heeris is not chaungid, nether the wounde [sorenesse IS.] is lowere than the tother [other IS.] fleisch, and thilke [the ilke I. that K.] spice of lepre is sumdeel derk, the preest schal close the man bi [Om. plures.] seuene [verse 27] daies; and in the seuenthe dai he schal biholde [biholde him IS.] ; if the lepre wexith in the fleisch, [verse 28] the preest schal defoule the man; ellis if the whijtnesse stondith in his place, and is not cleer ynow, it is a wounde [soornesse IS.] of bren|nyng, and therfor the man schal be clensid, for it is a signe of brennyng. [verse 29] A man ethir [or EILP.] womman [a womman plures.] , in whos heed ether [or EILP.] beerd lepre [the lepre I.] buriounneth, the preest schal se [verse 30] hem; and if the place is lowere than the tothir fleisch, and the heer is whijt, `and is [Om. IS.] sotilere [Om. IS. smallere KO.] , `ether smallere [Om. KO.] , than it [Om. L.] is wont, the preest schal defoule hem, for it is lepre of the heed, and of the beerd. [verse 31] Ellis if he [Om. O.] seeth the place of wem [the wem F. the soor IS.] euene with the nyȝ [tother IS.] fleisch, and [and he IS.] seeth [Om. F.] the [Om. L.] here blak, the preest schal close hem bi [Om. IS.] seuene [verse 32] daies, and schal [he schal IS.] se [se hem IS.] in the seuenthe dai; if the wem waxith not, and the heer is of his colour, and the place of wounde [the soor IS.] is [verse 33] euene with the tother fleisch, the man schal be schauun, without the place of wem [the wem I.] , and he schal be closid eft bi [Om. plures.] seuene othere daies. [verse 34] If in the seuenthe day the wounde [soor|nesse IS.]

[verse 35] Ellis [Om. K.] if aftir the clensyng a spotte wexith [verse 36] eft in the skyn, the preest schal no more enquere, whether the heer is chaungid in to whijt colour, for apeertli he is vncleene. [verse 37] Sotheli if the spotte stondith [stondith stille IS.] , and the heeris ben blake, knowe [knowe thanne S.] the preest that the man is heelid, and [Om. [verse 40] A man of whos heed heeris [the heeris IS.] fleten awei, is [he is IS.] calu [ballid IS.] , and [verse 41] clene; and if heeris [the heeris I.] fallen fro the forheed, [verse 42] he is ballid, and is [Om. IS.] cleene; ellis if in the ballidnesse bifore, ether in the ballidnesse bihynde, whijt ether reed colour is bred [sprungun vp IS.] , [verse 43] and the preest seeth this, he schal con|dempne the man without doute of lepre, which [that IS.] is bred in the ballidnesse. [verse 44] Ther|for whoeuer is defoulid with lepre, and is [verse 45] departid [departid fro other men S.] at the doom of the preest, he schal haue hise clothis vnsewid, bareheed [and his heed baar IS. bareheeded X.] , the [and his IS.] mouth hilid with a cloth, he schal [verse 46] crye hym silf defoulid, and viyl; in al tyme [the tyme IS.] in [Om. GIS.] which [that IS.] he is lepre [leprouse B.] and vnclene, he schal dwelle aloone without the castels [tentis IS.] . [verse 47] A wollun cloth, ethir lynnun, that hath [verse 48] lepre in the warp, ethir oof [in the oof IS.] , ethir certis a skyn [pilche IS.] , ether what euer thing is maad [makid F.] of [verse 49] skiyn, if it is corrupt with a whijt spotte, ethir reed, it schal be arettid [holde IS.] lepre, and [verse 50] it schal be schewid to the preest; which [the which I.] schal [schal biholde and A sec. m. it schal be [be demed IS.] contynuel [continuel ether abydinge BX.] lepre; he schal deme the [that IS.] cloth defoulid, and al thing in [verse 52] which it is foundun; and therfor the cloth schal be brent in [with IS.] flawmes [flawmes of fijr IS.] . [verse 53] That [and IS.] if he [the preest IS.] seeth that the spotte wexide [hath woxen IS.] not, he schal [verse 54] comaunde [comaunde to hem that open the cloth S.] , and thei schulen waische that thing wherynne [in whiche IS.] the lepre is, and he [the preest IS.] schal close it aȝen bi [Om.
