[verse 1] And the Lord spak to Moises, `and [verse 2] seide [seiynge S.] , In the firste monethe, in the firste dai of the monethe, thou schalt reise [areere IS.] the tabernacle of witnessyng. [verse 3] And thou schalt sette the arke therynne [with ynne it IS.] , and thou schalt leeue a veil bifore it. [verse 4] And whanne the bord [mete bord S.] is borun [brouȝt S.] yn, thou schalt sette ther onne [thervpon S.] tho thingis, that ben comaundid iustli [iustli ether bi the lane BC. iustli either bi resonable custum GKNQX.] . The candilstike schal stonde with [verse 5] hise lanternes, and the goldun auter, where ynne encense [the encense IS.] is brent bifor the arke of witnessyng. thou hast take oyle [the oyle K.] of anoyntyng, thou schalt anoynte the tabernacle, with hise [verse 10] vessels, that tho be halewid; the auter of brent sacrifice, and alle vessels [the vessels IS.] ther of; [verse 11] the `waischyng vessel [lauatorie IS.] , with his founde|ment [baas I.] . Thou schalt anoynte alle thingis with the oile of anoyntyng, that tho [thei N.] be hooli of hooli thingis. [verse 12] And thou schalt present Aaron and hise sones to the dore [verse 13] of the tabernacle of witnessyng; and, whanne thei ben `waischid in [weishe with I. waiȝshen in K.] water, thou schalt clothe hem with [in IS.] hooli clothis, that thei mynystre to me, and that the anoynt|yng of hem profite in to euerlastynge preesthod. [verse 14] And Moises dide alle thingis whiche [that IS.] the Lord comaundide. [verse 15] Therfor in the firste monethe of the secunde ȝeer, in the firste dai of the monethe, the ta|bernacle was set [set forth S.] . [verse 16] And Moises reiside [areeride IS.] it, and settide [he sette IS.] the tablis, and foundementis [baasis I.] , [verse 17] and barris, and he ordeynede pilers; and `spredde abrood [he streiȝte out IS.] the roof on [vpon IS.] the taber|nacle, and puttide [he putte IS.] an hilyng aboue, as the Lord comaundide. [verse 18] He puttide [putte IS.] also the witnessyng [witnessyng, that is, the tablis of the lawe BCKNSX.] in the arke, and he settide [sette the I. sette S.] barris with ynne, and Goddis [he settide Goddis BC.] answeryng place aboue. Aftir that [verse 32] alle thingis weren perfitli maad, a cloude hilide the tabernacle of witnessyng, and [verse 33] the glorie of the Lord fillide [fulfillide IS.] it; nether Moyses myȝte entre in to the tabernacle of the [Om. GISX.] boond of pees, while the cloude hilide alle thingis [the thingis F.] , and the maieste of the Lord [clothing O.] schynede, for the cloude [cloth O.] hilide alle thingis. [verse 34] If ony tyme the cloude lefte the tabernacle, the sones of Israel ȝeden forth [verse 35] bi her cumpanyes; if the cloude hangide aboue [ther aboue IS.] , thei dwelliden in the same place; [verse 36] for the cloude of the Lord restide on the tabernacle bi dai, and fier in the nyȝt, in the siȝt of the puplis [peple S.] of Israel, bi alle her dwellyngis.
