[verse 1] Therfor [Wherfor A.] whanne al the cumpanye of the sones of Israel was gaderid, Moises seide to hem, These thingis it ben, whiche the Lord comaundide to be doon. [verse 2] Sixe daies ȝe schulen do werk, the seuenthe dai schal be hooli to ȝou, the sabat and reste [the reste IS.] of the

Lord; he that doith werk [seruyle werk I. forboden werk S.] in the sabat schal be slayn. [verse 3] Ȝe schulen not kyndle fier in alle ȝoure dwellyng places bi the `dai of sabat [dai of the S. S.] the Lord comaundide, and [verse 5] seide, Departe ȝe at ȝou the firste fruytis to [of GQ.] the Lord; ech wilful man and of redi wille offre tho [Om. [verse 20] And al the multitude of the sones of Israel ȝede out of `the siȝt [verse 21] of Moises [Moises siȝt IS.] , and offride with moost redi soule [mynde IS.] and deuout the firste [cheef IS.] thingis to the Lord, to make the werk of the tabernacle of witnessyng, what euer was nedeful to the [Om. G.] ournyng [ournement F.] , and to hooli [the hooli IS.] clothis. [verse 22] Men and wymmen ȝauen bies of the [her S.] armes, and eeryngis, ryngis [Om. F. and othere ryngis IS.] , and ournementis of `the arm [her armes IS.] niȝ the hond; ech goldun vessel was departid in to the [Om. IS.] ȝiftis of the Lord. [verse 23] If ony man hadde iacynt, and purpur, and `reed selk [cocco IS.] twies died, bijs, and the heeris of geet, skynnes of rammes [wetheris IS.] maad reed, [verse 24] and of [Om. X.] iacynt [ether blew X marg.] , metals of siluer, and of bras, thei offeryden to the Lord, and trees of Sechym in to dyuerse vsis. [verse 25] But also wymmen tauȝt ȝauen tho thingis, whiche thei hadden spunne, iacynt, purpur [and purpur A m. pr.] , and [verse 26] vermyloun, and bijs, and the [reed IS.] heeris of geet; and ȝauen [thei ȝauen IS.] alle thingis by her owne fre wille. [verse 27] Forsothe princes offeriden stoonys of onychyn and iemmes, to the `cloth on the schuldris [coope IS.] , and to the ra|cional [breest broche S.] , [verse 23] and swete smellynge spiceries, and oyle to the [Om. DKS.] liȝtis to [that schul I.] be ordeyned, and [Om. IS.] to make redi oynement [the oynement BC.] , and to make the [Om. BE.] encense of swettist [the swettist C. most swete IS.] odour. [verse 29] Alle men and wymmen offeriden ȝiftis with deuout soule [mynde IS.] , that the werkis schulden be maad, whiche the Lord comaundide bi the hond of Moyses; alle the sones of Israel ha|lewiden wilful [wilfulli K.] thingis to the Lord. [verse 30] And Moises seide to the sones of Israel, Lo! the Lord hath clepid Beseleel bi name, the sone of Hury, sone [the sone IS.] of Hur, of the [verse 31] lynage of Juda; and the Lord hath fillid [fulfillid IS.] hym with the spirit of God, of wisdom, and of vndurstondyng, and of kunnyng, [verse 32] and with al doctryn, to fynde out and to [Om. S.] make werk in gold, and siluer, and bras, [verse 33] and in stoonys to be grauun, and in werk

of carpentrie; what euer thing may be foundun craftili, the Lord ȝaf [hath ȝouun IS.] in his herte; and the Lord clepide [hath clepide IS.] Ooliab, the sone of Achymasech, of the lynage of Dan; the Lord tauȝte [hath tauȝte IS.] bothe [bothe thes IS.] `with wisdom [Om.
