[verse 19] And the temple of God in heuen is [was V.] openyd, and the ark of his testament is [was V.] seyn in his temple; and leytinges ben [weren V.] maad, and voyces, and erthe mouyng, and greet hayl. [verse 1] And a [Om. NT.] greet token [signe ANOQSVX.] apperide in heuene; a womman `couerid, or [Om. OV. kouerid X.] cloth|id [clad S. Om. X.] , with the [Om. ANQS.] sunne, and the [Om. Q.] moone vndir hir feet, and in the [hir T.] heed [heued OT.] of hir [Om. T.] a coroun of twelue sterris. [verse 2] And she hau|ynge [hadde chijld V.] in wombe [wombe, or beinge with childe T. the wombe V.] ; and she `criede, ber|inge [crieth, traueilinge of V.] chijld, and is tourmentid, that she bere chijld. [verse 3] And an other tokne [signe ANOQSVX.] is [was V.] seyn in heuen; and lo! a greet reed dragoun, hauynge seuen heedes [heuedes OT.] , and ten hornes, and in the heedis [heuedes OT.] of him seuen diademes. [verse 4] And the tayl of him drewȝ the thridde paart of sterres [the sterris Q.] of heuene, and [and he T.] sente hem in to erthe. And the dragoun stood bi|fore the womman, that was to beringe [bern SX.] chijld, that whan she hadde born chijld, he shulde deuoure hir sone. [verse 5] And she chijldide a `sone male [male son, either knaue chijld V.] , that was to reul|inge [reulen SX.] alle folkes in an yren [yrenen O.] ȝerd; and hir sone is [was V.] rauyschid to God, and to his trone. [verse 6] And the womman fleiȝ in to wil|dirnesse,
