OQVX.] , into [aȝens V.] disciplis of the Lord, cam nyȝ to the [verse 2] princes [prince AGMNOQSTXY.] of prestis, and axide of him epi|stlis [letteres O. epistlis, either comyssiouns V.] into Damaske, to synagogis; that if he founde ony men and wymmen of this lyf, he schulde lede [leden aboute Q. lede hem V.] boundyn to Jerusa|lem. [verse 3] And whanne he made iourney, it bifel, that he cam nyȝ to Damaske. And

sudeynly liȝt fro heuene schon aboute [verse 4] hym; and he fallinge [fallide V.] into [to OV.] the erthe, herde [and herde V.] a vois seyinge to hym, Saul, Saul, what pursuest thou me?
