[verse 2] Forsoth the Jewis that weren vnbileueful, reisiden persecucioun, and to wraththe stiriden the soulis of hethen men aȝens bretheren [britheren; forsothe the Lord ȝaf soone pees V.] . [verse 3] Therfore thei dwelliden moche tyme, doynge tristyli in the Lord, beringe witnessinge to the word [Lord X.] of his grace, ȝyuynge sygnes and wondris for [Om. SX.] to be maad by the hondis of hem. [verse 4] Forsothe the [Om. O.] multitude of the citee is [was V.] departid, and sotheli summe weren with Jewis, summe sothli with apostlis [the apostlis GMNPQT.] . [verse 5] Forsoth whanne asawt of hethen men and Jewis was [weren N.] maad, with her princes, for [Om. SX.] to pon|ische with dispisingis, `or fals blamyngis [Om. OQX.] , [verse 6] and [and to GMPQST.] stoone hem, thei vndirstondinge [vndirstoden and V.] fledden to gidere to the citees of Licao|nye, Listris [and Listris X.] and Derben, and al the cun|tree inuyroun [in enuyroun G sec. m. [verse 10] Forsoth the cumpanyes, whanne thei hadden seyn that that Poul dide, reriden her voys in Lycaon tunge, seiynge, Godis maad lyk to men camen doun to vs. [verse 11] And thei clepiden Barnabas Jouem [Jubiter V.] , Poul sothli Mercurie, for he was ledere of the word. [verse 16] And sotheli not withoute wit|nessyng he `wel doynge [weldinge V.] lefte hym silf, fro heuene ȝyuynge reynes and tymis ber|inge fruyt, fulfillinge [fillinge V.] with mete and glad|nesse ȝoure [in ȝoure N.] hertis. [verse 17] And thei [hem MPQT.] seyinge thes thingis, vnnethe swagiden the cum|panyes [kumpanye X.] , that thei offriden not to hem. [verse 18] Forsothe summe Jewis camen out [ouer MOPQTVXY.] fro Antiochie and Iconye, and [and counceiliden V.] , the cumpa|nyes sweteli [Om. OV. swiftely Q.] `stirid, thei [Om. S.] stoonynge [stoneden V.] Poul, drowen [and drowen V.] out of the citee, gessinge [and gessiden V.] `him for to be [him to be SX. that he was V.] deed. [verse 19] Sothli disciplis [the disciplis GMNPQT. whanne disciplis V.] enuy|rownynge [cumpassiden V.] hym, he rysinge [roos and V.] entride into the citee; and [in N. and in V.] the suynge day he wente forth with Barnabas into Derben. [verse 20] And whanne thei hadden euangelysid to `the ilke [that X.] citee, and tauȝt manye, thei turneden aȝen to Listris, and Iconye, and Antiochie; [verse 21] confermynge the soulis of disciplis, and monesting, that thei schulden dwelle in feith [the feithe O.] , and seiynge, For [That V.] by manye tribu|laciouns it bihoueth vs for [Om. ANSX.] to entre into the kingdom of heuenes. [verse 22] And whanne thei hadden ordeyned prestis to hem by alle citees, and hadden preied with fast|ingis, thei bitoken hem to the Lord, into whom thei bileuyden. [verse 23] And thei passinge [passiden V.]

[verse 24] Persidie, camen [and camen V.] to Pamphilie; and thei spekinge [spaken V.] the word of the Lord in Per|gen, camen [and camen V.] down in to Atalie. [verse 25] And fro thennis thei wenten bi boot to Antiochie, fro whennis thei weren takun to the grace of God, in to the werk that thei fulfilliden [filliden V.] . [verse 26] Sothli whanne thei camen, and gedriden [hadden gaderid V.] the chirche, thei telden how manye [grete V.] thingis God dide with hem, for [and that V.] he hadde opened to hethene men the dore of feith. [verse 27] Forsothe thei dwelliden a tyme not litil with disciplis [the disciplis GMPQT.] .
