We han such a bischop, that saat to gidere in [on SX.] the riȝthalf of the [verse 2] seete of greetnesse in heuenes, mynistre [the mynystre V.] of seyntis and of the verri tabernacle, that God sette [settide V.] , and not man. [verse 3] Forsothe [Forwhi V.] ech bischop is ordeyned for [Om. SX.] to offre ȝiftis and oostis [sacrificis V.] ; wherfore it [and it S.] is nede, and [that also V. Om. X.] this man [man Crist T. bischop V. Om. X.] `for to [Om. V. to X.] haue sum thing that he schal [schulde T.] offre. [verse 6] Now forsoth he hath getyn a betre mynysterie, by how moche and he is [is maad S.] a mediatour of a [Om. NT.] betere testament, the [Om. [verse 7] For if `the ilke [that X.] firste hadde be voydid [voyde AGMNOPSTVXY.] fro blame [blaam, perfitly clensynge men T.] , sothli a place [place, or opportunite T.] of the secunde schulde not be souȝt. [verse 8] Forsoth [For he V.] reprouynge hem he [Om. V.] seith, Loo! dayes comen, seith the Lord, and I schal ende [make perfit V.] a newe testament vpon [on VX.] the hous of Ysrael, and vpon [on SVX.] the house of [verse 9] Juda; not vp [after GMPT. vpon O. bi V.] the testament that I made to her fadris, in [Om. [verse 11] And ech man schal not teche his neiȝbore, and ech man his brother, seyinge, Knowe thou the Lord; for alle men schulen wite [knowe OV.] , `or knowe [Om. OVX.] , me, fro the lesse [leeste O.] `til to [vnto MPT.] the more of hem. [verse 12] For I schal be helpful [merciful O.] , `or mer|cyful [Om. OX.] , to the wickidnesse [wickidnessis S.] of hem, and now I schal not bithenke [thenken S.] on [of MT.] the synnes of hem. [verse 13] Forsoth in seyinge newe, the formere wexiden [wex S. wexide V. wexen X. wexe Y.] olde; forsoth that that is of many dayes, and wexith [wexide GMPT.] olde, is nyȝ the [Om. X.] deeth.
