[verse 1] And the Lord spak to Moyses, seiynge, [verse 2] Thes thinge spek to the sones of Yrael, The man of the sones of Yrael, and of the comlyngis that dwellen in Yrael, if eny of his seede ȝyue to the mawmet of Moloch, thurȝ deth die he; the puple of the loond shulen stonen hym. [verse 3] And Y shal putte my face aȝens hym, and Y shal kitte hym doun fro the myddil of my puple, forthi that he ȝaue of his seede to Moloch, and hath defowlide my seyntua|rye, and polut [polutid D.] myn holy name. [verse 4] That if the puple of the loond necgligent, and as despisynge myn heestes [heeste E.] , forȝyue [forȝeueth E.] the man that hath ȝouun of his seede to Mo|loch, [verse 5] ne wole [wole not A pr. m.] slee hym, Y shal putte my face vpon that man, and his kynrede, and I shal kitte hym down, and alle that con|senten to hym, that thei doon fornyca|cioun with Moloch, fro the myddil of his puple. [verse 6] The lijf that declyneth to dyuy|nours, and herkeners to deuels, and doth fornycacioun with hem, I shal putte my face aȝens hym, and I shal slee hym fro the myddel of his puple. holy, and beth holy, for I am holi, the Lord ȝoure God. [verse 8] Kepe [kepe ȝe BDEFH.] myn heestes, and doth hem, for Y am the Lord that halow|ith [halwe E.] ȝou. [verse 9] Who so cursith to his fader, or moder, with deeth die he; who so [Om. BD sec. m. E sec. m.] to his fader or moder cursith, his blood be vpon hym. [verse 10] Who so [Om. BDEFH.] doth leccherie with wijf of another, and hath wrouȝte auow|trye with the wijf of his neiȝbore, thurȝ deth dye both [And BDEFH.] the lecchour and the auow|tres. [verse 11] He that slepith with his stepdam, and opneth the shenship of his fader, thurȝ deth dien thei bothe; the blood of hem be vpon hem. [verse 12] If eny man sleepe with his sones wijf, either be deed, for hidows trespas thei han wrouȝt; the blood of hem be vpon hem. [verse 13] He that slepith with a maal, bi maner of goyng togidere with a womman, either hath wrouȝt ful vnleeful thing, thurȝ deth die thei; the blood of hem be vpon hem. [verse 14] He that vpon the wijf takith the douȝter, the moder `of hyre [a lyue A.] , hidows trespas hath [has BF.] wrouȝt; ful myche he shal bren with hem, and so greet vnleeful thing shal not dwelle in the myddil of ȝow. [verse 15] He that with hows beeste or feelde beeste goth togider, with deth die he, and the beeste slee ȝe. [verse 16] The womman that lieth [vnder lieth BDEFH.] to eny beeste, to gidere be she slayn with it; the blood of hem be vpon [vnpon A.] hem. [verse 17] He that takith his sistir, the douȝter of his fader, or the douȝter of his moder, and seeth the filthheed of hir, and she bihoolde the shenship of the brother, a ful vnleeful thing thei han wrouȝt, bothe shulen be slayn in the siȝt of her puple; forthi that her filthheed thei opneden to gidere, and thei shulen bere her wickidnes. [verse 18] He that goth to gidere with a [Om. BDEFH.] womman in the flux of the moneth blood, and opneth hir filthehed, and she opneth [opyn BDEH.] the welle of hir [sone BDEF.]

[verse 19] The filthheed of thi moder sister, and [and of BEFH.] thi fader sister, thow shalt not discouer; who that doth this, the shenship of his flesh he shal nakyn, and both shal bere her wickidnes. [verse 20] He that goth togidere with the wijf of his fader brother, or of his vncle, and opneth the shenship of his kynrede [kynredene E.] , bothe thei shulen ber her synne, and with out free children thei shulen dye. [verse 21] Who so wed|deth the wijf of his brother, an vnleeful thing doth; the filthheed of his brother he hath opned, and with out fre children [chirdren A.] he shal be. [verse 22] Kepe ȝe my lawes, and my domes, and doth hem, lest and the loond cast [vome BDEFH.] ȝow out, that ȝe ben to goynge yn, and to dwellynge. [verse 23] Nyle ȝe goo in the lawful thingis of naciouns, the whiche Y am to puttynge out before ȝow; alle for|sothe thes thinges thei han do, and Y haue wlatid hem. [verse 24] To ȝow forsothe Y speke, Weeldith the loond of hem, that Y shal ȝyue to ȝow in to erytage, the loond flowynge mylk and hony; Y the Lord ȝoure God, that hath [haue E.] seuerde ȝow fro other puples. [verse 25] And ȝe thanne seuer a clene beeste from vnclene, and clene [a clene E.] bryd fro vnclene, lest ȝe poluten ȝoure soules in beestis [beeste E.] , and in bryddis, and in alle that mouen in erthe, and that to ȝow Y haue shewid to be polut [polutid D.] . [verse 26] Ȝe shulen be holi to me, for Y the Lord am holy, and haue seuerd ȝow fro other puples, that ȝe ben myne. [verse 27] A man or womman, in the which is a spirit of wicchecraft, or of dyuynynge, with deth die thei, and with stonus men shulen ouer-falle hem; the blood of hem be vpon hem.
