[verse 1] Forsoth, britheren, of `tymes and mo|mentis [of momentus and of tymes SWXY.] ȝe [whenne this general resureccioun schal be, ȝe QT.] neden not that I write to ȝou. [verse 2] Also [For V.] ȝe [ȝe ȝoure GPQTY sec. m. ȝe ȝou M. ȝou OSX.] silf diligentli witen, for [that V.] the day of the Lord, as a theef in nyȝt, so schal [schal it QT.] come. [verse 3] Sothli [For V.] whanne thei schulen seye pees [pees is V.] and sikurnesse, thanne sudeyn [sodeynli SX.] perischinge, `or deeth [Om. [verse 25] Britheren, preie ȝe for vs. [verse 26] `Greete ȝe [Greeteth S.] wel alle [all holy O.] britheren in hooly coss. [verse 27] I coniure ȝou by the Lord, that this pistle [epistyl SX.] be rad to alle hooly britheren. [verse 28] The grace of oure Lord Jhesu Crist be with ȝou alle [Om. V.] . Amen.
