[verse 1] Beseleel forsothe made also the arke of the trees of Sichym, hauynge two cu|bites [cobite E pr. m.] and an half in lengthe, and other [an other D.] half cubijt in brede, and the hiȝte was of other half cubijt; and he clothid it with moost puyr gold with ynne, and with oute. [verse 2] And he made to it a goldun crown [verse 3] bi enuyroun, ȝetynge foure goldun rynges bi foure corners of it, two rynges in the to side, and two in the tother. [verse 4] And he made berynge staues of the trees of Si|chym, [verse 5] which he clothide with gold, and the whiche he putte into the rynges that weren in the sides of the arke, to bere it. [verse 6] And he made the propiciatorye, that is, Goddis spekynge place, of moost puyr gold, of two cubites and an half in lengthe, and of other half cubijt in brede. [verse 7] Also two cherubyn of gold forgid, whiche he putte on either side of the propicya|torie, [verse 8] o cherub in the ouermest heiȝt of the o parti, and `that other [the tother BDEFH.] cherub in the ouermest heiȝt of `that other [the tother BDEFH.] parti; two cherubyn in either heiȝtis of the pro|piciatorye, [verse 9] strecchynge out the wenges, and couerynge the propiciatorye, and hem seluen togidere, and it aȝenbiholdynge. [verse 10] And he made the meet bord of trees of Sichym, in lengthe of two cubites, and in brede of o cubijt, that hadde in heiȝt o cubijt and an half. [verse 11] And he enuyrounde it with moost clene gold, and he made to [verse 12] it a goldun brerde bi enuyroun; and to thilke brerde a goldun coroun bitwix grauen of foure fyngris, and vpon it an|other goldun coroun. [verse 13] And he ȝetide foure goldun cercles, the whiche he putte into the foure corners, bi eche feet of the bord [verse 14] aȝen the coroun, and he putte into hem berynge staues, that the bord myȝte be

born. [verse 15] And thilk berynge staues he made of trees of Sichym, and enuyrounde hem with gold. [verse 16] And the vessels to dyuerse vses of the bord, eysel vessels, fiols, and litil cuppes, and ensensers [cenceris DE.] of moost clene gold, in the whiche ben sacrifice [sacryfices E sec. m.] `of li|cours [Om. E pr. m.] to ben offerd. [verse 17] And he made a can|dilstik, forgid of moost clene gold, of whose berynge staf, ȝeerdis, cuppis, and [verse 18] bollis, and lilies ȝeden out; sixe in either side, three ȝeerdes on o side, and thre on the tother; thre cuppes in the maner of a note thurȝ eche ȝerdes, and litil ballis [verse 19] togidere, and lilies; and three cuppes at the liknes of a [O BDEFH.] note in o ȝeerde, and ballis togidere, and lilyes; the werk was euen of six ȝeerdes, that ȝeden out of the stok of the candelstik. [verse 20] In that forsothe ber|ynge staf were foure cuppes, in maner of a note, and balles thurȝ ech, and lilies; [verse 21] and the balles vnder the two ȝeerdes bi thre places, the whiche togidere maken six ȝeerdes, goynge out of o berynge staf; [verse 22] and thanne the ballis, and ȝeerdes of it weren alle forgid of moost clene gold. [verse 23] And he maad seuen lanternes with her candelquenchers, and the vessels, where the snuffes ben quenchid, of moost clene gold. [verse 24] A talent of gold peyside the candel|stik with alle his vessels. [verse 25] And he maade the auter of maad [Om. E pr. m.] ensence of the trees of Sichym, hauynge thurȝ square eche cubitis, and in heiȝt two, of whose corners ȝeden out hornes. [verse 26] And he clothide it with moost clene gold, with the fier panne, [verse 27] and walles, and hornes; and he made to it a litel golden crown by enuyroun, and two goldun rynges vnder the crown, bi eche sides, that in hem ben put yn the berynge staues, that the auter may be born. [verse 28] Thilke forsothe berynge staues he made of the trees of Sichym, and he co|uerde

with goldun plates. [verse 29] And he made oyle to oynement of halowyng, and the maad [Om. E pr. m.] ensence of moost clene swete smell|ynge spices, with the werk of pymen|tarye [spycery mengyng E pr. m.] .
