[verse 3] Forsoth I drede, lest as the ser|pent disceyuede Eue with [bi M.] his sutil wordis [frawde AGMNOQSTVWXY.] , so ȝoure [oure TWY. pr. m.] wittis ben corupt [corupt, bi lijc fraude Q.] , and falle doun fro the symplenesse that is in Crist. [verse 4] For|whi if he that cometh, prechith anothir Crist, whom we prechen [prechiden V.] not, or if ȝe taken anothir spirit, whom ȝe resseyueden [token V.] not, or anothir gospel, the [Om.
