[verse 1] `And so [Therfore V.] , britheren, I biseche ȝou by the mercy of God, that ȝe ȝyue ȝoure bo|dyes a lyuynge oost, `or sacrifice, hooly [or holy sacrifice GQ. holi X.] , plesynge to God, ȝoure seruyce resonable. [verse 2] And nyle ȝe be confoormed, `or maad lyk [Om. OX.] , to this world, but `be ȝe [beth X.] refoormed in newenesse of ȝoure witt, that ȝe proue which is the wille of God, good, and wel plesynge, and parfyt. [verse 3] Forsoth I seie, bi the grace that is ȝouun to me, to alle that ben among ȝou, for [Om. SX.] to not [Om. Q.] sauere, `or kunne [Om. OX.] , more than it [Om. O.] behoueth for [Om. SX.] to kunne [kunne, of priuey mysterie Q. sauouren X.] , but for [Om. SX.] to kunne to sobrenesse [sobrenesse, with outen presumpcioun Q.] ; and to ech man, as God hath departid the mesure of feith [the feith X.] .
