CAP. XXI.
[verse 1] Aftirward Jhesu eft [eftsoone A pr. m. GMNPQSTWXY. Om. V.] schewide him to his disciplis, at the see of Tyberias [Tyberiadis A pr. m. GMNPQSTWXY.] . Sothli he schewide [schewed him G sec. m.] thus. [verse 2] Ther weren to gidere Symount Petre, and Thomas, that is seid [Om. G pr. m. Y.] Didymus, and Nathanael, that was of the [Om. M.] Cane of Galilee, and the sones of Zebedee, and tweye [two MPXY.] othere of his disciplis. [verse 3] Sy|mount Petre seith to hem, I go for [Om. SX.] to fysche. Thei seyn to him, And we comen with thee. And thei ȝeden [wenten AGMNPQSTWXY.] out, and stiȝ|eden in to a boot. And in that niȝt [thing K.] thei token nothing. [verse 4] Forsoth the morwe maad, Jhesu stood in the brynke; nethelees the [Om. G pr. m. NTXY.] disciplis knewen not, for it was [is AGMNPQSTVWXY.] Jhesu. [verse 5] Therfore Jhesu seith to hem, Children [Childer SY.] , wher [whether X.] ȝe han ony soupynge thing? [verse 6] Thei answeriden [answerden to him N.] , Nay. He seide to hem, Send ȝe the nett in to the riȝt|half of the rowyng, and ȝe schulen fynde. Therfore thei senten the nett, and [answerden to him N.] now thei myȝten not drawe it, for multitude of fyschis. [verse 7] Therfore thilke [that X.] disciple, whom [that Q. the whiche MTXY.] Jhesu louede, seide to Petre, It is the Lord. Symount Petre, whanne he hadde herd for [Om. S.] it was [is AGMNPQSTVWXY.] the Lord, girte him with a coote, sothli he was nakid, and sente him in to the see. [verse 8] Sothli othere disciplis camen by boot [boot, or rowyng A pr. m. GNTY. boot, or rowynge to the lond Q.] , for thei weren not fer fro the lond, but as [as it were A pr. m. S.] two hundrid cubitis, drawynge the nett of fischis.
