And the hiȝeste prestis and scribis souȝten, hou thei schulden holde him [Crist MP.] with gile, and sle [slee him PX.] . [verse 2] Sothli thei seiden, Not in the feeste day, lest per|auenture noyse were maad in the peple. [verse 28] But aftir that I schal ryse aȝen, I schal go bifore ȝou in to Galilee. [verse 29] Forsoth Petre seith [seide UV.] to him, `And if [Thouȝ UV.] alle schulen be sclaundrid, but not I. [verse 30] And Jhesus seith [seide U.] to him, Treuly I seie to thee, for thou [Om.
